Font anti aliasing not working correctly

Project Member Reported by chaopeng@chromium.org, May 14 2018

Issue description

Chrome Version: 66.0.3359.170 (Official Build) (64-bit)
OS: Linux, not hi dpi

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open https://jsfiddle.net/pk31fbbr/
(2) See the text in output are blur

It seems related with transform combine with something else. You can comment out the transform in #queryContainer to make the text clear. You can also apply height to it to fix it.

Transforms apply after layout and thus can force text (and other content) to be displayed miss-aligned with the pixel grid. This is intentional to allow for smooth animations using transforms.

We've been toying with the idea of snapping non-animating transforms to the pixel grid but even that breaks some use cases that depend on the transform doing exactly what was specified.

For crisp rendering prefer using layout primitives over paint ones.
