Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.139 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open chrome with several tabs 2. In Windows open "Task Manager" and go to tab "Details", sort by column "I/O write bytes" (add if it doesn't exist) 3. You will see that it keeps increasing very fast. If the "continue where you left off" option it increases very fast. If you go to "Open the New Tab page" it grows slower. What is the expected behavior? The pace of 1MB write per second puts a strain on any hard drive What went wrong? It kills my SSD Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 66.0.3359.139 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

The issue seems to be a feature request. Hence, marking it as untriaged for further inputs from dev team. Thanks...!! |
