Write a Google Slide with colourful emoji in it, e.g. 💁👌🎍😍 2. The Emoji are displayed in colour 3. Press the "present" button in the Docs UI. 4. The Emoji are rendered in black & white - or not at all. What is the expected behavior? In "present" mode, emoji should be in colour. What went wrong? Emoji are displayed in black & white. Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Able to reproduce this issue on reported version 66.0.3359.139, on latest canary 68.0.3431.0 using Mac 10.13.3 and Windows 10. NOTE: In Linux even in normal mode emojis are seen in blank. Attaching screenshot for reference. This issue is seen from M-60. Hence considering this issue as Non-Regression and marking as Untriaged.

I can reproduce the change from color to B&W fonts in Chrome 68.0.3440.7 on Mac. It looks to me like slides is rendering as SVG during presentation mode, but using blink's actual font rendering when outside presentation. ssaviano@ can you find someone who can tell us if you need anything from Chrome to help address this? Or should this be tracked only as a slides bug?

This bug system is for issues with Chromium and Chrome, not with arbitrary google properties. Please use send feedback in the application (Help > Report a Problem) or use the support forums. https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/docs Team is aware of this issue and it is being worked on.
