Country drop-down stops at Pakistan then blank

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.40 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Select country
2. Scroll to choose U.K.
3. Blank passed Pakistan

What is the expected behavior?
Countries should be visible to the bottom of the list

What went wrong?
No idea. Works just fine with other browsers.

Did this work before? Yes Not sure

Chrome version: 67.0.3396.40  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0

After working OK yesterday, it is back again this morning. This time stopping at New Zealand after being online for about an hour.

Switching from "For you" to "Local" headlines returned it to normal.

One tab is broken and one is working. I dragged the tab into a separate window so that I could show both.
