Incorrect window placement for ImageMagick

Clicking the main window should popup the menu window on the left of the main window. Menu window instead appears below the main window.

vm_tools: remove attempt to respect size_hints.x/y.

These values should be ignored according to the ICCCM spec.
Ignoring them and following the spec seem to solve a number
of window placement issues.

TEST=menu for imagemagick (display) shows up correctly
