Audio on gaming and web synth sites not working

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10452.85.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.158 Safari/537.36
Platform: 10452.85.0 (Official Build) stable-channel gnawty

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Put the above specific URL into URL slot
2. hit ENTER key
3. Site opens
4. use mouse to lift click on any key on Viktor synth
5. Notice no sound plays through headphone output or can be heard on speakers of laptop

What is the expected behavior?
Sound should play when using mouse or MIDI. Keys on site there show red when played, but there is no sound. This site plays just fine on a HP desktop with AMD processor and the MS Vista OS. But it does not play sound since last Chrome OS update to version 66. 

What went wrong?
no sound.

I don't repro this bug on chrome 66.0.3359.158 build. can you check if this issue repro on other website on your device?

If you have very recently tried to dupe the step by step procedure I
provided to duplicate my issue - it's already been fixed by Google due to
widespread similar issues for gamers and other users. So no worry at this
time.

I am currently on version Version 66.0.3359.181 and have no issues since
the Google global fix had been released. See the following article that
fixed these issues including lack of sound on music synth sites and other
audio sites.
