[MacViews-Browser] The whole Toollbar flickers a moment during resize

Chrome Version: Canary 68.0.3425.0
OS: macOS 10.13.4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Enable MacViews-Browser
(2) Resize the window

What is the expected result?
No flicker of the Toolbar.

What happens instead?
Sometimes the whole Toolbar flickers.

A screencast and a screenshot is attached.

Maybe partly related to  issue 712229  ?
