Cannot access gmail on chrome

Issue description
Chrome Version : 66.0.3359.139
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari:
Firefox:
IE/Edge:OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Google Gmail and click link
2.select gmail link from top right shortcut
3.
What is the expected result?
gmail to open
What happens instead of that?
error message

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-7 and Win-10 using chrome reported version #66.0.3359.139 and latest canary #68.0.3425.0. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1.Googled Gmail and clicked on link 2.selected gmail link from top right shortcut. 3.Observed that url: https://mail.google.com/mail/?tab=wm opened without any issues. sdpwillow@ - Could you please check the issue on latest canary #68.0.3425.07 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not. Thanks...!!

I have a similar problem with Chromium for the different url.

ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED
The problem emerges only in Chromium [Version 68.0.3440.75 (Official Build) Built on Ubuntu , running on Ubuntu 18.04 (64-bit)]. Google Chrome [Version 54.0.2840.90 (64-bit)] and Firefox deal with the url perfectly fine.
