Audio loopback is functioning properly (headphone icon is being triggered).

It still be worth replacing the dongle, the headphone icon presence is not the verification for the originating failure.

Okay, will do. It was working from a physical standpoint. Audio was playing when I removed loopback and stopped again when plugged back in (even with volume turned up in the loopback state).
