Automated tests for the below commit have been missing.Would it be possible to add test coverage to avoid regressions in future?

Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
The problem is that the bug only manifests on Ubuntu because it's in Unity-specific code and there are no Ubuntu buildbots (that I can tell of at least.) If there were, I believe the current tests would have discovered the bug. The missing piece is Ubuntu buildbots to cover the Ubuntu-specific UI code.
