Standard operations. This is a very new chromebook. Failed right out the box due to problems with my profile. It thinks it's a phone. It loaded all the android apps despite me NEVER TURNING ON GOOGLE PLAY and there are several rogue apps auto installed via google play that I have not authorized regardless of reset, powerwash, or even logging in with another account. Bad actors have installed apis on my gmail accounts, and enabled chrome file sync on apps I never installed to begin with back when I had an android phone. This chromebook IS NOT MANAGED but still is enabling google play apps after a reset and powerwash. Despite me NOT ENABLING google play AT ALL. I DON"T WANT anything to DO WITH ANDROID APPS. I was slayed by stagefright and approx 300 people had unauthorized access for more than a few years to email, google drive, my google pages and not sure what else.. I HAVE FOUGHT AND FOUGHT AND FOUGHT THIS. I have enhanced privacy protection which is supposed to protect me. Why does this continue to happen? Please help me GOOGLE. :) What is the expected result? No Crash, no tpm error, no dns failures, no weirdo's reading my gmail. I am in google enhanced protection with yubikeys and don't know how to stop this. What happens instead? CRASHES, instant and constant TPM errors on EVERY device I log in on- even brand new devices. --- this is probably my 10+ chromebook with no fix yet after a few years to being hacked. An interesting note: I have 2 different internet service providers at my home. This chrome book is only connected to one and should not be connecting to any other wifi access points. (IMO). But when I move from the the 2nd floor of my home to the first floor it says network change was detected... What does this mean? There are several rogue access points in my neighborhood spoofing xfinity open wifi- (I have been tracking them- they self identify as xfinity routers -from pegasus, which is not valid) But xfinity STILL has the default admin and password on all their routers and all it takes is a single hacked iphone or android to allow a hacker that has gained persistence to reprogram xfinity routers. I have spoken with comcast 3 times-- they just don't get it-but I will try again. Comcast is NOT SAFE even though thay require that you change the unique ssid they already provided and you must login to xfinity through a gateway screen but after you do that you can still go to 10.0.0.1 with the default user admin and password and reprogram the whole darn router. Is my chromebook connecting to rogue access point like xfinity wifi? I REALLY want to DISALLOW all open access points - xfinity and comcast is pwned. Sad but true.
