Thanks for filing the issue! Tried checking the issue on reported chrome version 66.0.3359.139 using Mac 10.13.1 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched chrome 2. Added "ChromeVox" extension 3. Navigated to http://www.chromevox.com/navigating.html 4. Double-pressed CTRL key. 5. Double-pressed CMD key. As said in comment#0 even we have observed the same, i.e., double-press of CMD key enables sticky mode but not CTRL key. Note: Similar behaviour is seen from M60(60.0.3112.0) @Reporter: As we are not very clear about step 1 in comment#0 i.e., "re sticky mode" Could you please clarify on that. Any further inputs from your end may be highly helpful.

Sticky mode makes the ChromeVox application act as if the ChromeVox keys were engaged. So the user can enter ChromeVox commands with one hand. The bug may be a bug in the application, or in the documentation. The bug is that the documentation and the application are not consistent with each other.

The ChromeVox Classic extension for Windows, Mac, and Linux is currently in maintenance mode and will continue to be offered in the Chrome Web Store. We recommend using a native screen reader with Chrome such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, or TalkBack. We support ChromeVox in the Chrome OS operating system on Chromebooks. I am resolving this issue now due to these recommendations. Please feel free to open a new issue if you have any questions or concerns. |
