Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.139 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: Sometimes in incognito mode (and "clear browsing data on exit") the browser fails to unload the active sessions, and opening the incognito mode again will restore the previous incognito session. 1- navigate in incognito 2- click close incognito window "X" 3- re-open incognito (even after hours) session is restored to before step 2, with cookies and everything still present What is the expected behavior? session is completely deleted when the window is closed What went wrong? session is not deleted when window is closed Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 66.0.3359.139 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: I think it's caused by active websocket connections

Unable to reproduce the issue on Win-7 and Win-10 using chrome reported version #66.0.3359.139 and latest canary #68.0.3422.0. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Navigated in incognito 2. Clicked close incognito window "X" 3. Re-opened incognito after few minutes. 4. Observed that session is completely deleted when the window is closed as expected. netmosfera@ - Could you please check the issue on latest canary #68.0.3422.0 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not. Thanks...!!

There are no extensions loaded in incognito... ??? I'm going to try on canary as soon as I have some time My guess is on websockets, but I always get tons of ssl errors so that could be too Another thing I noticed is "restore previous session on relaunch" that could be related for example: - I open 4 tabs - I close one (Ctrl+W) - Immediately after, I close the whole browser When I relaunch that profile, rather than getting only 3 tabs restored, I get 4. Something prevents the tab from being unloaded I tried with both #enable-fast-unload with both enabled and disabled but nothing changed. Despite I have closed it, the tab still shows up in Chrome's Task Manager HTH

Did you really expect me to answer to that? If it was reproducible every time you (hopefully) would've fixed it already. |
