Was this after a Chrome crash? We have a known issue where after a Chrome crash you need to log out/in. Please assign back with answer.

You are right! Although... I don't remember having a chrome crash... maybe I did. I tried chrome:restart, nothing happened. I then logged out, thinking "no way this can work", but it did work, I'm running gimp now :O
