Remove yellow backgroung on input field when site resets it. |
|||||
Issue descriptionWhen the site resets the value of an input field after it has been filled, the yellow background remains. The select already behave correctly. This can be seen on staples.com and on https://sebsg.github.io/autofill/dynamic_form_double_select_options_change.html if you have the flag for dynamic forms on. I will add a new example to sebsg.github.io for that case

Issue is not fixed on iOS. Checked on chrome beta version 68.0.3440.18 on iPhone 8 plus and iPhone 6 plus on iOS 11.4/10.3.3 and iPad 2018 iOS 11.4. The address field has the yellow background after the value is reset. Video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JyCQR2mUlTqT_zHPVk1Pp1gdNSZUpT7n/view?usp=sharing

Moe, do you think we can take a look at this?

When the value of a field is set programmatically by the website, no event JS will be raised and therefore there is no way to be notified of that in iOS. Marking this as fixed. |
