white bar on bottom hiding controls

Canary 68.0.3417.3 on a Pixel 2 XL

reported from ainslie@: "There was a bug in fullscreen mode where a white bar was drawn at the bottom of the screen hiding the scrubber and the controls. Maybe something about auto-rotate? (can't reproduce this reliably)"
