[chameleon] update freezes

Project Member Reported by rjahagir@chromium.org, May 4 2018

Issue description

chromeos15-row1-rack4-host3-chameleon cannot update

root@socfpga:~# cat /etc/default/chameleond
CHAMELEOND_DIR="/usr/bin"
BUNDLE_VERSION="0.0.2-r223"
CHAMELEON_BOARD="fpga_tio"

root@socfpga:~# /etc/init.d/chameleon-updater start
Check new chameleon bundle

^The above step freezes and the chameleon does not update or automatically go down for a reboot.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Ruchi, I just did an update and it indeed rebooted.
But that is because r230 bundle has a new kernel supporting printer gadget.

After it reboot, the new bundle is r230 and chameleon daemon can start normally.
Hi Jimmy! Thanks for checking on this. I just ssh'd into the chameleon and saw that the bundle version is still 223.

root@socfpga:~# cat /etc/default/chameleond
CHAMELEOND_DIR="/usr/bin"
BUNDLE_VERSION="0.0.2-r223"
CHAMELEON_BOARD="fpga_tio"

I've started the updater again and will see if it is able to reboot and update correctly.
