Chrome OS hangs when pressing the search button in overview mode

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10575.22.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3396.26 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10575.22.0 (Official Build) beta-channel caroline Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open overview mode 2. Press the search button What is the expected behavior? The peeking app launcher should open What went wrong? The OS hangs and a hard reboot or a sysrq restart ( SysRq + REISUB) is needed to recover the system Crashed report ID: d4d1182e1d95dfbc How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes 66.0.3359.137 (10452.74.0) Chrome version: 67.0.3396.26 Channel: beta OS Version: 10575.22.0 Flash Version: This happens in both the new and old overview designs, with both the new and the old overview animations. Don't know if a hang (unresponsive system) can be considered a crash, hoping it can.

When this happends, i get a lot of Files App notifications telling to is being unable to synch a bunch of documents to Google Drive.

I don't get any such notifications, do you actually add files before you get these? or do you always get these notification after the system hangs regardless of your files?

This seems like a dup of crbug.com/837092 and has been already fixed in crrev.com/c/1031747 I'm not sure how it relates to the stacktrace in #2 though. |
