In an attempt to use some of the new design patterns we've developed, we should try to identify logic that interacts with the BookmarkModel and move it into a mediator.  Ideally we'd give the mediator a pointer to a |consumer| instead of directly handing it a VC.

This task will require research to determine if code can be moved.
