Repro steps:
1. Visit https://www.vkb.de/content/services/mein-premiumservice/kp/#/nkp/registrierung
2. Generate a password in the "Password" field.
The site manages that confirmation password field never gets the generated password autofilled. It cannot be pasted in either. It has to be manually typed.
Chrome could try to do some of the following:
(A) Force the value of the second field to be the same as the first one despite the site working against it.
(B) Override the site's attempt to prevent pasting into a field.
(C) Display the generated password unmasked even if that field loses focus, so that the user can at least look at it while retyping it into the confirmation field.
I think (A) is likely infeasible. (C) should be feasible unless we have a good reason to keep the field masked when without focus. (C) is not ideal but better than today's state. Not sure how feasible (B) is. There might be other ways to tackle this.
Oh, and this is also one of the sites which requires one special character, so the generated password fails its requirements.
(Adding kolos@ in Cc, because he has been looking into password generation issues very recently.)
