Authentication required to download already loaded PDF behind HTTP auth

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/65.0.3325.181 Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Load a PDF file that is behind HTTP auth (can't share example).
2. Wait for auth to expire, then try to download PDF from loaded page.

What is the expected behavior?
PDF is already loaded and still open, should be able to download.

What went wrong?
Download fails - "Failed - Needs authorization"

Authentication required dialog when clicking download PDF.

Sounds like another instance of the "saving pdf requires the file to be in cache" issue.

thestig: was there a bug to dupe those against?
