This is a visual polish issue on first boot. What I see is:

1. White splash screen with chrome logo
2. Brief black screen (weird)
3. Login pod heads, but no wallpaper
4. Wallpaper for first pod's account
5. Wallpaper replaced by blurry blue

Then when I type my password I see

6. Wallpaper switch from blurry blue to real wallpaper
7. Black screen
8. Session opens

I would be better IMHO to go from white splash screen directly to all pods with correct wallpaper, even if it meant holding the splash screen for an extra second. Likewise, on login I'd prefer not to see a separate wallpaper transition before entering the session.
