Hi there. Could you please provide additional information? Does it not work at all? Does it work sometimes and randomly stops? Does this happen on all pages? It'd be helpful when it happens if you capture a trace using these instructions and attach it here: https://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/submitting-a-performance-bug

I have this same problem too. The scroll on my mouse randomly does not work, but the 2-finger scroll works. I am using a Lenovo N22, Version 66.0.3359.137 (Official Build) (64-bit) Mouse: Logitech M221. For example, under the ChromeOS Settings screen, I can scroll with the mouse. But when I clicked on the hamburger menu on the left, I can't scroll the scroll-able menu on the left. Incidently, as I am typing this message, I can't scroll using my mouse on this bugs.chromium.org site, but the 2-finger scroll works. So far, I have no problems with Google's search result screen. Perhaps when there is multiple frames/scrollable parts, in the page, the mouse scrolling just stops working.

Dang it. I can't seem to reproduce the problem I just mentioned earlier. The problem seems to be random at the moment. I can't see a pattern to this problem just yet The same for me exist as for https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=839546&q=mouse%20scroll&colspec=ID%20Pri%20M%20Stars%20ReleaseBlock%20Component%20Status%20Owner%20Summary%20OS%20Modified https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=838494&q=mouse%20scroll&colspec=ID%20Pri%20M%20Stars%20ReleaseBlock%20Component%20Status%20Owner%20Summary%20OS%20Modified Ah... I just read the last link above. Looks like it will be fixed for the next release. Any way to push the release out earlier as it is seriously annoying when I randomly can't scroll a page all of a sudden.

I changed my channel to the Beta channel to get the version 67 of the ChromeOS to try. Unfortunately, I am still witnessing this error. It usually works when you refresh the tab, and the problem exist not in any particular website, even Google's Apps (Sheets, Drive)

An annoying yet interesting thing, it can suddenly stop scrolling mid-way while I am using the mouse scroller. This happened just now with Google Drive. After I came back from standby, I noticed one of my tabs not working. I then switched between tabs and switched to the Google Drive tab. The file frame (on the right) did not work, but the folder frame (left) worked. But suddenly, while scrolling around, it stopped. Refreshing the tab did NOT fix it. Opening a new tab and pasting back the same URL fixed it. Incidentally, at the moment, my mouse can scroll this text editor box, while unable to scroll the entire page.

We're investigating various scroll issues - this is almost certainly covered in one of the existing bugs but I'll leave this open on myself until we can categorize it into an existing bug.

Re #4-7: That sounds a lot like issue 438457 which is fixed in canary and we're hoping to merge to 67 soon. klockridge0718@: Do you possibly have both a mouse and a touchpad? If so, when scrolling stops working, does two finger scrolling with the touchpad get it working again? If not, does the issue occur when you disable chrome://flags/#smooth-scrolling ?

@bokan, thanks for the update. Looking forward to a smoother experience.

It happens when using a mouse. I saw the other bug report after posting this. The temporary fix was to tap the touchpad for it to continue scrolling, but shortly after it breaks again.
