I am having a weird issue with my Chrome browser and I can't find how to fix it. Each time I try to access my Gmail email I got the following message:
This site can’t be reached
mail.google.com is currently unreachable.

What firewall/antivirus/proxy are you using? We've seen a number of buggy middleboxes, and while most have distributed fixes, there are a couple that need manual adjustment (until they get a patch out). It would also be helpful to get a net-internals log when you reproduce the issue, see details here: https://sites.google.com/a/chromium.org/dev/for-testers/providing-network-details

Reporter, we sadly can't do anything useful with your report without information requested in comment #3; any chance you could provide it?

Apologies for the late reply. I am not using any firewall or proxy, only Avast antivirus. Hope this will help. Thank you, *Regards,* *Mohamed* Toronto, Ontario Tel: +1 (437) 981 3488 E-mail: mooussazz@gmail.com

Hi, can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the newest version of Avast. This seems to resolve the problem for most other people.

Hi, please respond with the information requested above (the net-internals log and whether uninstalling and reinstalling Avast fixes the issue), otherwise we'll be unable to proceed further with this bug and have to close it.

Archiving issue due to lack of followup. Feel free to file a new bug with the requested log if uninstalling and then re-installing Avast doesn't fix the issue. |
