Hi William, this is a known issue on Linux (and Chrome OS) with the Xbox One S gamepad when connected over Bluetooth.

If your Chrome OS device is in Dev mode, you can disable ERTM as a workaround. This allows the controller to stay connected.

To disable ERTM, run this command as root:

echo 1 > /sys/module/bluetooth/parameters/disable_ertm

This fixes the issue until the next boot.
I Like To Keep My Chromebook In Normal Mode. Thanks So Much Plz Tell Me If
Their Is Ever A Change On How To Do It Without Dev Mode.
