Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. have Malwarebytes running (version 3.3.1.2183, not updated to the most recent version, I refuse to update for personal reasons although updating it might solve the problem)
2. run chrome canary
3. wait a couple of minutes, about 5 is enough

5. relaunch chrome, chrome explains that it crashed because of malwarebytes
6. repeat

What is the expected behavior?

How much crashed? Just one tab

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A

Did this work before? Yes about yesterday was fine

Chrome version: 68.0.3410.0 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

My Chrome Canary has been compatible with my version of malwarebytes for a while and I have started experiencing these problems only today.
I dont want to update Malwarebytes for personal reasons, sorry if it sounds silly but rest assure that if I wanted, I'd do it, I hope the compability between Chrome and my verison of malwarebytes will continue

I have also tried reinstalling malwarebytes.
