Issue descriptionChrome Version: 66.0.3359.126 OS: Android 7.1.1 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Search for something in GSA (2) Click the result and get a chrome plate (I think that's what it's called) (3) Take a screenshot What is the expected result? Stay on page What happens instead? Promotion "you take a lot of screenshots, do you want to edit them with some google app" Dismissing the promotion also dumps you back at the search results (not the result you had already clicked through) Difficult to repro because the promotion doesn't trigger on demand.

Urr, that seems like a GSA feature...? I wouldn't even know where to start looking for that. Do you know the exact text for the message?

Something along the lines of "you take a lot of screenshots! edit them in place" maybe? It was probably this: https://www.theverge.com/2018/2/19/17028146/google-app-screenshot-editing-drawing-beta-version-7-21 (in which case RVG could be removed)

Thanks! I've looked into it a bit, and that does seem to be an issue in GSA, which I've filed as b/79184494 (that one also has a bit more context about the issue). Removing RV-G, because this is now tracked internally. |
