Go to https://codepen.io/anon/pen/gzLwOj 2. Select the "fi" of the different fonts What is the expected behavior? I should be able to select only one of the two characters What went wrong? With Roboto and Open Sans I cannot select only one of the characters Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 66.0.3359.117 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.13.4 Flash Version: My first issue was that I use a library to export a page to PDF using canvas and if the string "fi" is on the page, only the "f" is displayed. Then I find this two characters bug. It works fine in Firefox/Safari

thomas.negrault@ Thanks for the issue. Able to reproduce the issue on Mac OS 10.12.6, Windows 10 and Ubuntu 17.10 on the latest Canary 68.0.3414.0 and Stable 66.0.3359.117 by the steps mentioned in the original comment. Not able to select one of the two characters in Roboto and Open Sans font. This is a Non-Regression issue as this behavior is observed from M60 Chrome builds. Hence marking this as Untriaged for further updates from Dev. Thanks..
