Settings->Browser App has duplicate entries for Chrome Canary

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Download Chrome Canary
2. Long-Press on the app icon
3. Tap the info (i)
4. Tap Browser app

What is the expected behavior?
A single entry appears for Chrome Canary

What went wrong?
A duplicate entry of Chrome Canary exists.

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 68.0.3409.0  Channel: canary
OS Version: 8.1.0; Pixel 2 XL Build/OPM2.171019.029
Flash Version: 

A similar duplicate entry bug exists in Settings->Users & Accounts for apps like Duo.

Seems to be specific to the Chrome Canary app.

I added the Chrome Beta app in addition to the stable Google Chrome just to see and it displays correctly on both those other builds.

Tested the issue using #68.0.3409.0 on Android 8.1.0; Pixel 2 XL Build/OPM2.171019.029 and could reproduce the issue as per the steps mentioned in original comment.

This looks to be specific to Canary channel as the duplicate entries isn't observed for other channels.

Untriaging and requesting dev team for further triaging of the issue.

Also found in Dev channel app (M-67).

My related Android bug report had been marked as fixed:

"The issue has been fixed and it will become be available in a future Android release. Please keep an eye on the release notes."
