ChromeOS 10452.74.0, 66.0.3359.137 beta-channel elm

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Login to user account and connect USB device to chromebook. Files app shows USB device entry
(2) Eject USB device by clicking on 'Eject' button
(3) Remove USB device and insert it again

What is the expected result?
Files app should detect USB device.

What happens instead?
Files app does not detect USB device.
