Regression: Youtube menu items appear blank after taking screenshot by Nimbus extension

Chrome Version: 68.0.3409.0 (Official Build) Revision	14c5d49cfb5674793fe0d5223cc4cf257732a8ff-refs/heads/master@{#553714} (32/64-bit)
 
OS: Win (7, 8, 8.1, 10), Linux (14.04 LTS) and Mac (10.12.6, 10.13.1, 10.13.5).

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Chrome and navigate to above URL and install the extension.
2. Navigate to www.youtube.com and click on Nimbus extension icon in omnibox and select "Entire page" option.
3. After taking screenshot by Nimbus, observe the screenshot and www.youtube.com website.

Actual Result: Only video thumbnail appears and options like menu, search bar,etc. on www.youtube.com appears blank.
Expected Result: Options on www.youtube.com should not appear blank.

This is regression issue broken in ‘M-68’ and providing the bisect info below,
(Unable to provide bisect using per-revision script,Hence providing bisect with old script):

Good Build: 68.0.3397.0 (Revision: 550858)
Bad Build:  68.0.3398.0 (Revision: 551178)

With respect to comment #3, tried to rebisect and found the same narrow bisect URL.

My change is behind a flag and would not affect rendering / painting.

I took a look at the bisect and am not sure who would be a more appropriate owner.

Can confirm it is r551163. 

I noticed the app-drawer node in the disappearing panel on the left is different with r551163, it gains an animation property in the style attribute, not there without r551163.

I then tried to debug the style builder tree but ran out of time, hopefully more tomorrow.
