Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3359.117 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://codepen.io/denilsonsa/pen/KgajKP Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open http://codepen.io/denilsonsa/pen/KgajKP 2. It should display "Testingfoobaranother", with foobar having a yellow background. 3. In addition, try zooming in and out, and notice the position changes slightly. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? "foobar" is overlapping "Testing". It shouldn't. Also, when zooming in or out, the position slightly changes. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 66.0.3359.117 Channel: stable OS Version: Ubuntu 17.10 Flash Version: This is an exact duplicate of issue 649622 , because that one was marked duplicate of issue 635717 , which was fixed, but the bug still remains.

Able to reproduce the issue on Mac 10.13.3 and Ubuntu 17.10 using chrome reported version #66.0.3359.117 and latest canary #68.0.3409.2. Issue is not seen in OS-win. This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M60 old builds. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!
