Windows 10 task-bar forces Chrome window up when it shows but doesn't drop it back down when it hides.

Reported by roland.m...@gmail.com, Apr 25 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.162 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open your chrome window half-sized against the left or right sides of monitor
2. Have your taskbar set to auto-hide
3. Show your taskbar

What is the expected behavior?
Leave my window alone! Either give me an option to turn this off, or put the window back when the taskbar hides :S

What went wrong?
My tabs are now off the screen and it's annoying.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 65.0.3325.162 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: n/a

I don't like it :(

Unable to reproduce the issue on chrome reported version 65.0.3325.162 using Windows 10 with steps mentioned below:
1) Launched chrome reported version and kept the toggle button "ON" for " Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode"
2) Chrome browser on the desktop on left hand side and task bar is in hide mode
3) Moved the mouse towards the task bar, able to see task bar and chrome is in the same position and on the screen

Found it!

It's a stupid Lenovo tool called 'Auto Scroll' and it has died a terrible death.

Thanks!

As per C#4 looks like the issue was due to Lenovo 'Auto Scroll' tool, hence closing this.
