Could you give some examples of the sites that don't work? Also, as version 66 is now rolling out, could you also try the new version?

Thanks for the feedback. For example youtube.com, at first the page loads but when you start playing back a video, your Chrome stop responding in a minute, is that what you are seeing? Does Chrome stop only the video playback, or the whole page is not responding (e.g. not scrolling, no action against keyboard / mouse)? Either case, we are not seeing reports like this, it is very probable that your environment has some issue, rather than not in Chrome itself (such as network connection etc.). Chrome user forum may be more appropriate forum to get help. https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/chrome

I see, so your web content area in the tab is completely frozen, but still Chrome itself (outside of web content area, like URL bar or Chrome application menu) is working? Or, the whole app is frozen and you need to Ctrl+Alt+Del to kill the app? Also, does it only happen on pages that contain movies? For example, pages with only static contents, like Chrome's new tab page or https://www.google.com are also stopping?

Unable to get enough information to analyze what was going on. The reporter, if you are still experiencing the same trouble, as I already commented, consult in the Chrome user forum https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/chrome would have better chance to get it resolved. |
