Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Have a password-protected PDF as an email attachment 2. Open it using gmail's preview 3. What is the expected behavior? Not sure if remembering passwords for attachments is intentional, but the experience is jarring - the filename is recorded as the username and the dialog text refers to it as a site. What went wrong? It showed a dialog with the filename filled in as the username Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 65.0.3325.181 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.13.3 Flash Version: Thanks for working on Chrome!

Could you open chrome://password-manager-internals/ in a tab and then reproduce the bug? You can paste the content of the log here.

I reproduced it. It doesn't look terribly wrong though. We don't support random secrets. Thus, it's the best we can do. |
