Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install the extension in a chromebook with BETA channel
2. Open the application
3. Login screen would appear as black, enter some text and press enter, screen would flash

What is the expected behavior?
Screen should not flash

What went wrong?
The extension is working fine in latest stable version, its just the beta channel where its flashing. I am attaching a video of the issue

The extension mentioned above is created using arc welder from a android application and then submitted to the chrome web store
