PDFs with layers do not render correctly in chrome

Issue description
Chrome Version : 65.0.3325.181
OS Version: OS X 10.13.2
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari: OK
Firefox: OK
IE/Edge: OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a PDF with multiple layers
2. PDF does not display correctly, some layers are missing
3.
What is the expected result?
All layers in a PDF should be visible
What happens instead of that?
Some layers are shown while others are not
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Can you please attach a PDF file which shows the incorrect behaviour? What do you mean by multiple layers in the PDF file?

I've googled up some examples of layered PDFs and those were displayed correctly in Chrome 65, 66, 68 - same as Acrobat Reader.

Given this situation, we can't make any progress on this bug. Marking the bug as WontFix for now because we can't fix it without the PDF in question or something like it. If you ever find a way to remove the sensitive information or some other way for others to see the problem, please just reply to this bug and we'll be happy to reopen it for another look. |
