Thanks for the idea!
I can definitely see how it would be useful to see how current the data is more easily, and see whether a commit is in the selected range.

We aren't planning on adding nice-to-haves like this to the existing V1 dashboard, and there are still P1s yet to do for V2, so we might not be able to follow up on this idea for a while. But I agree that it would be good to see the absolute end points, so I'll leave this open until we can follow up.

X-axes in V2 are chromium commit positions only for now, though we'll probably investigate using dates at some point. Both x and y chart axes in V2 currently try to choose nice round numbers like 555000 that are easier to read than 549953, but I think it would be reasonable to display both absolute end points in addition to the round numbers, at least for the x-axis.
