Issue descriptionDevice name: Samsung S7, Samsung S9 From "Settings > About Chrome" Application version: 65.0.3325.109 Operating system: Android 7.0 (S7) 8.0 (S9) URLs (if applicable): https://timvolodine.github.io/deviceorientation-test/ Steps to reproduce: (1) Go to url above. (2) No gyro data from device (3) This is an issue on several sites not just this test (4) window.addEventListener('deviceorientation', function(e) { console.log(e);},false); Expected result: a log of gyro data Actual result: no data

I cannot reproduce this on Chrome 66.0.3359.106 which is rolling out to stable-channel users. Please confirm whether or not this issue has been resolved on your hardware. This is likely a duplicate of issue 805146 .

Did to get v66 yet, can also confirm the issue on Nexus 5 (LG) - Android 6.0.1 - Chrome 65.0.3325.109

Update: we got chrome 66 on our Samsung S8 now and can confirm it fixes the issue on that device.
