Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3393.4 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the test file 2. Click the button to make the blue box fade in/out What is the expected behavior? The blue box fades in/out properly What went wrong? When the blue box is invisible/faded out, it doesn't fade in properly Did this work before? Yes Chrome stable Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 68.0.3398.0 Channel: canary OS Version: OS X 10.13.4 Flash Version: There are other opacity animation bugs at https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=833166 and https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=831207 , however they are powered using CSS3 animation This bug is reproduced using JS that sets the opacity on every tick, this issue might also be related: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=826230 This bug has regressed to 67.0.3393.4 dev too One workaround I found is to add `will-change: opacity` to the blue box
