How to have google places autocomplete ABOVE chrome autofill suggestions?

Reported by romm...@gmail.com, Apr 18 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. use google places API
2. use chrome with autofill on
3. type address in google places form

What is the expected behavior?
Wanting to have the google places autocomplete show above chrome autofill
OR
be able to disable chrome autofill entirely when using google places autocomplete.

What went wrong?
Is there any way to have google places autocomplete ABOVE chrome autofill suggestions with css, javascript or html?
It seems chrome ignores autocomplete="off", autocomplete="false", autocomplete="new-password".

None of these suggestions work:

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 65.0.3325.181 Channel: n/a
OS Version: OS X 10.11.6
Flash Version:

Please work with Google places API for solution.

Here you go. Chrome autofill blocks Google places if you enter your own addresses that are in autofill.
Ideally we would like to be able to deal with this via css and have the ability to have places on top or have autofill on the side or something.
If you want to use places again, you will have to refresh the page as we remove the listener after 1st use.
