Black screen on canary in VR mode

Reported by mamunpub...@gmail.com, Apr 16 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Connect your VR headset with your desktop
2. Go to https://threejs.org/examples/?q=vive#webvr_vive
3. Press 'Enter VR'

What is the expected behavior?
Browser should mirror the view inside the headset.

What went wrong?
Browser is showing blank screen instead of mirroring the view on first time. When i press exit VR & press enter VR again it is showing still image of that moment.

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 68.0.3397.0 Channel: canary
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

The three.js examples are working perfectly in firefox. Also in non VR mode when headset is connected but is not in presentation mode scene does not track the headset movement in canary.

I have tried the example in https://webvr.info/samples/04b-simple-mirroring-2.html. They are working perfectly on canary.

I have also reported a bug on three.js: https://github.com/mrdoob/three.js/issues/13865

mamunpublic@ Thanks for the issue.

Adding TE-Hardware-Dependency label as VR headset is not available at TE end for testing this issue.

Hence requesting Blink>WebVR team to look into the issue and help in further triaging.

Thanks..

There have been numerous black screen issues since Chrome 65, which have been fixed. Resolving this as I don't see a current repro. Please reopen if you see this on more recent builds.
