N/A Chrome version: 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) (64-bit) Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.3 Flash Version: 29.0.0.140 /Users/tjmehta/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/PepperFlash/29.0.0.140/PepperFlashPlayer.plugin It appears that Chrome is calling "pause" internally when the video tag is removed from the DOM.

Able to reproduce this issue on reported version 65.0.3325.181 and latest canary 68.0.3397.0 using Windows 10, Mac 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04. As this issue is seen from M-60(60.0.3112.0). Hence considering this issue as Non-Regression and marking as Untriaged. Thanks!

This is working as intended: when the video is removed from the DOM, it is paused. The play() promise will reject if playback did not start, it includes if the playback did not start because it was paused. |
