Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/67.0.3394.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to https://glitch.com/edit/#!/remix/workspaces 2. Click the randomly-generated project name in the top-left, then select Advanced Options > Download Project. 3. Unzip the file and put the new directory on your desktop. 4. Click the Show button. 5. Open DevTools. 6. Go to Sources tab. 7. Open Filesystem tab. 8. Click Add Folder To Workspace. 9. Select the "app" directory on your desktop. 10. Go to Page tab. 11. Click script.js 12. Add another console.log() statement to the script. 13. Reload the page. What is the expected behavior? DevTools loads the changed script. In the Console, you can see two logged messages. What went wrong? Workspaces loses the mapping between the 2 files. On the Page tab, the green dot is no longer next to script.js. The local file has been changed, but DevTools is not using the local file. Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 67.0.3394.0 Channel: canary OS Version: OS X 10.13.3 Flash Version:

Able to reproduce this issue on reported version 67.0.3394.0 on Mac 10.13.3. But seeing issues with similar steps. Hence assigning to lushnikov@ from similar bugs 796251 , 793811 , 794233 and removing Needs-Bisect label. Please feel free to change if not the case. Thanks!

We figured this with Kayce offline. Workspaces work only if http server actually serves the local files. This is not the case in this scenario; Overrides should cover all the needs. |
