multiline with colour breaks on Chrome \n

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 65.0.3325.181
OS Version: OS X 10.13.4
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
  Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari: OK
    Firefox: OK
    IE/Edge: WHO CARES

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open https://jsfiddle.net/andrevenancio/Le8esefc/
2. Open console
3. Cry

What is the expected result?
I would expect the multiline \n breaks into a new line. Even weirder is there's several multilines added it just breaks even more.

What happens instead of that?
Everything stays inline
