No three dots cutting state in inputs placeholder in focus state

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.181 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Type on input with cutted placeholder in three dots 2. Remove text 3. Placeholder is cutted but without three dots What is the expected behavior?
