STS focus ring/word highlight is off after using trackpad zoom gesture

Google Chrome	67.0.3383.0 (Official Build) dev (64-bit)
Firmware Version	Google_Samus.6300.276.0
Chrome OS with flag enabled: #enable-experimental-accessibility-features

Expected: focus ring and word highlighting works as expected
Actual: word highlighting is above the actual spoken words, focus ring is off depending on how closely you're zoomed in

Chromevox also has incorrect focus ring / word highlight after using trackpad zoom. So we are missing something in the underlying automation tree.

Both hit testing and bounding rects are off.

+David and Dominic, do you know where I could look for trackpad zoom vs browser zoom?
