[MacViews-Browser] Chromium Snapshots have a strange window background at top

Project Member Reported by meh...@chromium.org, Apr 11 2018

Issue description

Chrome Version: Latest Chromium Snapshot
OS: macOS 10.12.6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Download the latest Chromium Snapshoz from https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html?prefix=Mac/
(2) Enable the MacViewsBrowser flag
(3) Open a new window

What is the expected result?
A normal window.

What happens instead?
A window with a strange background at top.

A screenshot is attached.

Thanks
Mehmet

Yup, this is sdy@'s doing - it's deliberate :). Perhaps we should yank it though so chromium packagers don't end up with construction stripes.

sdy@?

The stripes still indicate that MacViews mode is under construction, but I'm genuinely not sure how people use these builds. I assumed that they were essentially snapshots of what you'd get if you built locally.

After some offline discussion, I think this is WontFix because the flag is off by default. If you turn it on you should see what we see :-). Let me know if I'm missing anything, and thanks for filing it.

Okay, thanks for your feedback. I am fine with that :-) I use these builds to find regression ranges - and then the flag is normally always off.
