Virtual keyboard doesn't work well with fast multi-finger typing

Project Member Reported by shend@chromium.org, Apr 11 2018

Issue description

Version: Eve Canary 67.0.2291.0

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Type text really fast (e.g. the word "controller") using the virtual keyboard with the same posture as a physical keyboard (i.e. don't type with one finger at a time, type with multiple fingers).

For a more consistent repro, just hit two keys are the same time.

What is the expected result?
The text is what I typed.

What happens instead?
I didn't get what I typed and I get stuck in a key variant popup (I don't know the proper name for it).

When you type like this, multiple fingers can hit the keyboard almost simultaneously (e.g. when typing "tr", I used two different fingers that hit the keyboard almost at the same time). The virtual keyboard thinks that it's both a swipe event and a long press event. The long press causes a popup to show. Unlike the normal popup when you long press, this one is stuck in some weird state and it's really hard to dismiss it.

It has been fixed. You can try using the latest version of the IME.
