||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionGoogle Chrome 67.0.3383.0 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) Google_Lulu.6301.136.57 Chrome OS with flag enabled: #enable-experimental-accessibility-features # Turn on STS # Invoke the feature by holding down search then dragging around the shelf (aka taskbar) Expected: all apps read in order Actual: some apps are read and others aren't. Example: I have Launcher, Chrome, Gmail, Docs, YouTube, Settings STS reads Launcher, Chrome, Gmail, Settings If I put the focus on each individual app including Docs and YouTube, it will be read, but not with all the others when the group is selected.

It'd be helpful to have a video or screenshots for this. Also please give it a try with switch access or chromevox to see if it's an STS bug or an underlying a11y tree bug, thanks!

I've tried many times to repro this and have been unable. It seems like sometimes the first time I invoke STS there will sometimes be problems and then they disappear after that. This is the same with both of these bugs, we can either examine an underlying root cause or close both as WontFix. STS not reading all items in shelf/taskbar 831405 STS reads incorrect app names in Launcher when expanded fully the first time 831415

Let's leave as WontFix, but please re-open if you can reproduce.
